After Recovery

Insurance Reimbursement

Depending on your insurance policy, the cost of professional stolen vehicle recovery may be reimbursable. Proof of Ownership Required

To protect against fraud and ensure we are returning vehicles to their rightful owners, Blackwatch requires proof of ownership before any recovery operation. You must provide:

• Valid government-issued photo ID — Driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID
• Proof of vehicle ownership — At least one of the following documents showing the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) that matches the vehicle to be recovered:
  • State vehicle title
  • Current vehicle registration
  • Insurance ID card with VIN
• Police report — A filed police report documenting the vehicle as stolen (required for the armed escort option)

All documents must match — the name on your photo ID must correspond to the name on the ownership documents. We verify everything before deploying agents to ensure the recovery is legitimate and legally defensible.
